My work is grounded in clarity, integrity, and calm support, helping people move forward thoughtfully through major life and business decisions.

Real Estate Advisor. Leadership Coach. Grounded Guide through change.

Dr. Amy McArdle

Experience Matters

I'm a Hudson Valley real estate advisor and PhD trained leadership coach with nearly two decades of experience guiding people through complex personal and professional transitions.

For over 18 years, education and leadership were the center of my world. I led classrooms, school teams, and athletic teams through change, conflict, and growth, learning how to support people in their most vulnerable and defining moments.

Those years taught me how to listen beneath the surface, communicate clearly, and design systems that support real humans, not just policies or performance metrics.

As my own life evolved: marriage, motherhood, major moves, and career shifts, I became increasingly drawn to the crossroads where everyday life and big decisions collide: home, work, identity, and the stories we tell ourselves about all three. Real estate became a natural extension of that calling.

Helping someone buy or sell a home is never just about square footage; it is about grief and possibility, timing and pressure, and the question, “Who am I becoming next?”

Today, my work shows up in three connected ways:

  • In real estate, I guide buyers and sellers across the Hudson Valley through big life transitions: first homes, family moves, downsizing, and everything in between. We focus on clarity, realistic expectations, and steady communication so you never feel like you are doing this alone.

  • Through The Fluent Phoenix, I coach growth‑minded leaders who are ready to build businesses that match who they are, not who they think they are supposed to be. Our work centers on mindset, leadership, systems, and boundaries so success does not come at the expense of your health, family, or sense of self.

  • Through content and community projects like “This is the Hudson Valley” I share what I am learning in real time about home, leadership, and rebuilding, so others can see themselves in the process and feel less alone in their own transitions.

The thread through all of it is the same: clear education, grounded support, and deep respect for the season you are actually in.

How I show up

At my core, I believe meaningful change starts from within, but it has to show up in the concrete details of your life: your home, your calendar, your finances, your relationships, and the way you move through uncertainty. Inner work and outer action are not separate; they inform each other.

My approach is:

  • Holistic: We look at the whole picture, your values, energy, responsibilities, and constraints, not just the immediate decision in front of you.

  • Human‑first: You are not a transaction, a lead, or a project. You are a person with a story, and that matters to me.

  • Structured but compassionate: My leadership background means I think in systems and next steps. My life as a mom and multi‑passionate professional means I am realistic about what those systems have to hold.

If we work together, whether you are buying or selling, or stepping into coaching, you can expect honesty, clear expectations, and plans that honor both your ambitions and your humanity. You will not be pushed into someone else’s version of success. We will build your version, on purpose.
